The band takes its name after their female lead singer and band leader Marie Wilson, who is a native of the United Kingdom. Marie has been a professional singer for over thirty years and has enjoyed a very successful career worldwide before relocating to California in 2010, where she has built up The Marie Wilson Band to be one of the most sought after and respected function bands in California. Marie has performed for royalty and celebrities around the world as well as being a successful recording artiste. She has been the band leader for hundreds of weddings and functions both here and in the UK and has endless experience in making your music and party exactly as you wish.
The band offers a full state of the art sound/pa system, full lighting system for the stage and your dance floor, radio microphone for all announcements and speeches, DJ service for breaks etc, MC service by Marie herself, dinner and cocktail music, either by the band or by MP3.
