Compare access hours, furniture, catering arrangements, staffing and cleanup. Check accessibility with the venue directly, including entrances and toilets. Sound limits, finishing times and restrictions on decorations can influence the rest of your plans.

What should we ask during a venue visit?
Ask what is exclusive to your booking, which spaces are shared, how guests move between events and who manages problems on the day. Bring a list of supplier access needs.
Can we bring our own suppliers?
Some venues allow outside suppliers; others require approved partners. Confirm catering, alcohol, entertainment and insurance requirements before signing separate supplier contracts.
How do we compare venue capacity?
Ask for capacity in your intended layout with dining tables, entertainment and a dance floor included. A standing reception capacity is not the same as a seated wedding capacity.
