More about The Phillydawg Trio
My name is Phil Norris and I founded the "Phillydawg Trio". We are a LIVE trio utilizing trumpet/flugelhorn, sax/flute and a female singer, plus I also sing. We play jazz swing, bebop, latin, bossa novas, sambas, lite pop and easy listening. Elegant music for restaurants, country clubs, wineries, nite clubs, private parties, weddings, barmitzvahs and corporate events. We have around 140 tunes which is a mix of instrumentals and vocals with the "horn section" backing the vocals. From old standards like "Satin Doll", "Killer Joe" and "Take the A Train" to oldies like "Can't Take My Eyes off of you"by Frankie Vallie, "Look Of Love"by Burt Bacharach, "Feel Like Makin' Love" by Roberta Flack to more contemporary hits like "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones, "Falling" by Alicia Keys, "Put Your Records On" by Corrine Bailey Rae and "Gimmie One Reason" by Tracy Chapman. The trumpet player sings male vocals by Michael Franks like "Lady Wants to Know", "Down in Brazil", "Don't Be Blue" and "Tiger in the Rain", along with a few other bossa standards. We have a CD package available with song list, player bios with pictures, etc. We have recorded demos for your convenience at www.reverbnation.com/phillydawgtrio
