Discuss your song choices, the ceremony schedule, amplification, and any requirements your venue has for live music.
Plan music for guest arrival, entrances, signing and departure. Listen to recordings of your preferred instruments and consider how they will sound in the actual space. A meaningful song may need a different arrangement for a solo performer or small ensemble.
Share cues and timings with the officiant and musicians. Outdoor performances need a practical plan for shade, weather and power where amplification is used. Check any venue restrictions before finalizing the repertoire.
Ask whether they can arrange it and whether the fee includes rehearsal. Give them the exact version you like and allow enough lead time.
This depends on the instruments, space, guest count and background noise. Ask the musicians and venue to agree on a setup that lets guests hear without overwhelming the ceremony.
Include guest arrival, the ceremony and possible delays. Confirm the performance window and any overtime policy instead of estimating from the ceremony length alone.
Prices are starting estimates. Confirm packages and availability with each vendor.
