Hi, my name is Maria. Congratulations on your engagement! Thank you for looking at my site and considering live harp music for your ceremony. I have been playing harp since I was 12 years old, performing has taken me to many interesting places and I met many new and exceptional people including my husband!
Solo harp music is a beautiful addition to wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, engagement parties, corporate events and more. I am a classically trained harpist with wide range of repertoire from classical to pop, therapeutic music, Celtic and hymns. I play a Lyon and Healy concert grand harp. A special trademark for my services is a personal meeting with each of my brides. We meet about 2 months prior to the wedding date at my house, where I will play number of music samples for you and you get to choose your favorites for your ceremony. That way each wedding ceremony is unique! Feel free to bring your fiance, mom, dad or best friend along to help you in this decision making. After our meeting I will email you the titles that you chose and you can just copy and paste them in your program.
Playing harp is my full time job, whether it's playing in the orchestra, solo recital or at the wedding, each hold the same importance to me. When not playing or practicing my harp, you will find me with my 3 kids, who keep me very busy! I also enjoy cooking good international food, reading historical novels, watching foreign movies, gardening and mainly spending time outdoors on trails with my family!
