Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my work! My name is Ellen Gustafson and I specialize in weddings, engagements, portraits, and family photography.
When I show up ready to document your day, I like to tell the story of how things are actually happening while also creating beautiful images that hold feeling and emotion. I strive to produce images in which you can revisit moments of nostalgia every time you view your gallery. Every moment of your day is important from the getting ready, the formal photos, the emotions of your ceremony, the energy of party that doesn't stop, and all of the candid moments in between you forgot existed.
I was born and raised in South Minneapolis which is where I still call home. I'm available for travel throughout Minnesota, the midwest, and beyond. Travel is something that's always been important to me and I always get excited when the opportunity arises to travel to a new part of the world, or revisit some of my favorites like the energy and sun in Los Angeles, the greenery of the Pacific Northwest, the culture of New Orleans, or the beaches and Spanish moss of old Florida. When I'm not traveling or shooting you can find me at home trying to get my cat to like me, or planning where I should see Beyoncé live in concert next (I'm up to 5 times!).
