Capturing Love is what we do best!

"We love photographing weddings because we get to capture love for a living. It's truly the best job in the world. What keeps our style fresh is that no two weekends are ever the same. Every wedding is so different and this allows us to stay creative and try new things with each of our couples. We feel that to be good at capturing today's fast paced weddings, for you need a blend of styles. We mix traditional photojournalism with creative portraiture which allows us to capture many real moments throughout the day, but also gives us the artistic freedom to create some very beautiful photos of our couples."
My name is Corey Rudolph (the head Monkey), I am a published Portland, Oregon area professional photographer, specializing in weddings and engagements. Monkey Photography consists of a two photographer team, my business partner Nichole and myself. Having two photographers allows us to capture your special day from two different perspectives and shooting styles. Having a male and female team allows us to be in the right places at the right time to ensure we don't miss a moment.
Why Monkey Photography?.............. Well, Monkey is a nickname a good friend gave me years ago. I wanted a business name that was memorable and fun. Because after all photography should be fun for not only me but most importantly my clients. My goal every time I go out to shoot is to capture and tell an amazing story in images. Photo stories are what drives me.
When I am not writing about myself, I like to go hiking with my dogs, spending time with my family, and working on fashion photo projects. I like to cook unique dishes from scratch, although sometimes too unique for my family.
I love to give back to my community that has supported me and my business. Having a father and Grandfather affected by cancer, it disease I am devoted to helping fight. I am an official photographer for Magic Hour as a way I can give back. Magic Hour is a national network of professional photographers who look to serve individuals and families fighting cancer. I also donate to Bridge Town Inc. a nonprofit helping the less fortunate in the Portland area. I live in the Portland area with my wife, daughter and our two beloved dogs, Roxy and Lucy.
