Quano Photography

I am really sorry to see all the couples that have had a harrowing experience with Quano on their beautiful day and I only can wish I had put in this review earlier so that some of them could have looked elsewhere.. Sincere apologies from the bottom of my heart.. Our wedding happnd on 06/30/2017 at the very beautiful Talamore club in Ambler, PA and we had the MISFORTUNE of hiring QUANO Photography for our beautiful day, a mistake I regret even to this day. After booking these guys more than a month, we had repeatedly tried to contact them for so many days before the wedding for a meetup but never got a response and day by day we were becoming uncomfortable. After so many unanswered calls and emails we said we are going to have our rehearsal at the venue(06/29) and we definitely need to meet them and that is when they responded, A DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING !! At the rehearsal, we met the main photographer, who looked like a kid just out from college. I did hide my fears from him and also hid my concern from my future wife as I was sure she would panic if I had conveyed what I actually felt. Being a photographer myself and a forward thinker, I did not want to judge the book by its cover, and so had a conversation with the photographer and made him part of our rehearsal and also shared with him the ideas we had for our couple pictures and also showed him the locations where we wanted our pictures to be taken and he did say YES to everything and even made a note of it !!!. He was part of the entire ceremony rehearsal. I was only praying that I would be proved wrong about my assumptions but my worst fears came true on the wedding day, when I saw the assistant photographer, who was a kid out of school, probably someone who would have taken pictures of her family or friends but clearly lacked the knowledge or had any experience in taking pictures, forget shooting a wedding. !! Both of them had no ideas about asking the couple to pose to capture beautiful wedding memories and finally we ended up with no good pictures. On July 8th 2017, after more than a week they send us an email saying that their usual delivery is 1-2 weeks after the wedding day and now in our case it is going to be 4-6 weeks !!!! And finally on 8th August we received the edited pics. When we got the Edited pictures I had no hope whatsoever that it was going to be different from what I already expected and it was true. Well thanks to their amazing "Experienced" photographers, there has not been one picture of ours that we can say was memorable or outstanding. From the entire pictures we got, only a handful of the pictures had sharp focus and on the rest, the focus was never on the object of interest.. Because of the poor quality photos they tried to make it up with heavy editing which was clearly visible. I painstakingly reviewed the 2000+ raw images(which surprisingly was a jpeg !) hoping to find some good pics that I can edit myself and honest to God, was really aghast to find the quality of the shots. More that 65% of them lacked focus, meaning it was unusable and just garbage ! I emailed Quano and Mr.Nayem, started defending his photographers saying they were very experienced and had shot more than 80 weddings and the assistant, 50+ weddings !!! My Foot !! My sincere advice is please stay clear of QUANO if you don't want to have a PAINFUL experience.. Once again I am sorry that I couldn't write this review earlier which could have saved many !!
