I have been photographing weddings for more than thirty years and am enjoying every minute of it.
My photographs are mainly documentary in style, natural, fun, sometimes a little quirky but I hope still look timeless with a modern edge.
Although I bring along an assortment of cameras and lighting my real love is to work discreetly with just one small camera and use natural light to catch expressions, emotions and all the little details of the day.
My documentary style works really well for most of the day however most couples like to do a few formal group photographs, I don't like to drag anyone around the venue for hours on end, just a few photos of the family and friends and perhaps later on a little time with the bride and groom for some relaxed photos together.
I'm happy to travel anywhere in the UK and love photographing weddings in France and Italy too !
