Discuss private dining, group menus, guest numbers, accessibility, and how the timing fits around your rehearsal.
Think about who is attending and how the meal follows the rehearsal. A private room, restaurant area or relaxed outdoor setting can work well if guests can hear one another. Check seating arrangements and the space available for short speeches.
Compare group menus, drinks, minimum spend and room hire. Confirm arrival time, meal service and when the space must be vacated. Share dietary requests and ask how the venue handles changes to guest numbers.
A private room can help with speeches and group conversation, but it may carry a hire fee or minimum spend. Ask about noise and privacy in the alternatives.
Some venues require pre-orders for groups. Confirm menu choices, deadlines and how dietary requirements will be communicated to the kitchen.
Record the guest count, menu, drinks arrangement, deposit, cancellation terms and any room charge. Ask whether taxes or service charges are additional.
Prices are starting estimates. Confirm packages and availability with each vendor.
