Make the conversation specific to your wedding

Bring your date, location and an outline of the service you are considering. Ask the vendor to explain how their approach would work for your plans, using examples of comparable events. Write down what is included and anything you need to confirm later.

Design around the moments guests will notice

Begin with your ceremony setting, bouquets and tables rather than a long list of individual stems. Show your florist a palette and examples of shape and texture. Seasonal availability and the venue environment can influence the final flower selection.

Compare installation as well as arrangements

Ask which vessels and structures are hired, what setup requires and whether arrangements can move between spaces. Delivery, installation, repurposing and collection should be clear in the quote, along with the approach to substitutions.

Your interview checklist

The first questions focus on this service; the remaining questions cover booking arrangements. Confirm final answers in writing.
